Sehr empfehlenswertes Hörbuch
Hier wird Geschichte wirklich in Form spannender Geschichten dargeboten. Sowohl die Ausführungen als auch der Sprecher sind bestens. Das Hörbuch wird gut akzentuiert und auch für mich als Englischlerner gut verständlich gesprochen.
Auch wer nicht unbedingt ein Spezialist für die alten Kulturen ist, hat hier Gelegenheit Interessantes der frühen Geschichte unterhaltsam aufzunehmen.

Highlevel overview of military history without much valuable insight
One can argue that the scope of the book is too ambitious, leaving no time to go into meaningful depth. An example is the roughly 30 seconds spent on Constantine and the downfall of Western Rome.
